Grateful to find this amazing space. I can't say enough about this house. Waking up in the morning to the view of the ocean was amazing.

We had a perfect stay at this Manzanita Beach House located right on the ocean. This was our 2nd visit to Manzanita and we much preferred being right on the beach. The house had everything we needed and the host was responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

Manzanita is our regular beach getaway location after we discovered it while staying in the busier Cannon Beach area. Seaside is too commercial. Cannon Beach is too crowded. Manzanita is just right. Also just right was the modern lodge. Actually it was difficult selecting exactly which of their properties we wanted to try. They were all appealing. The lodge was the perfect size for our group for this trip We had two of us working remotely and three kids needed to be online for school and there was plenty of room to spread out. The house was decorated tastefully and had everything we needed including comfortable beds and a separate master suite. And of course the views were striking. We have stayed at the coast cabins which were nice but quite a walk to the beach, not spacious and not very private. Especially considering Covid. We also stayed at stones throw in town which turned out it might have well been sunset surf as it was adjacent, noisy especially in the morning and the set up seemed crowded plus views were kind of narrow and small. I’ve had friends stay at the ocean inn and we’re happy but there wasn’t room for all of us and again, the privacy and Covid. I’m loving the northern end of the beach too. It’s beautiful and a quicker walk to the actual beach. We were really happy with the lodge and their responsiveness with our many questions. We are planning on returning, either here or one of the other properties depending on the size of our gang.

This is our third visit to one of Kim's houses. She is clearly taking the Coronavirus very seriously since the house was super clean and well stocked and her procedures are clearly outlined. The view is spectacular as always and the house suits our group very well. We plan on going again next year.

We had a wonderful 3 day weekend on Neahkahnie Beach. The cottage is located on a quiet street and at the end of the beach. Nice large yard for for our dogs. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family of six adults and one child had a wonderful time in this delightful house. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of room between the two floors for all of us. The beds were all very comfy and the down comforters were so cozy. Loved the location and the view spectacular. We all want to return for next Christmas.

We stay here at there beautiful ocean front property at least once a year, the memories we make and experience we have are the best of our lives. The people we come in contact with are always kind and friendly the house is warm, cozy, and clean clean! It’s not just the amazing views that keep us coming back year after year it’s the stress free type of vacation we love!

We have stayed in many, many places throughout Oregon and elsewhere. As far as the Oregon coast goes, this was the nicest we can remember and will definitely be back. It is not easy finding such a nice place along the coast, so you won't be disappointed.

This home was so clean and fully stocked with everything you need. The view and location were perfect. We would love to come back.

We have rented four of the Houses on Manzanita Beach properties over a six year period - some more than once. This year we stayed at the Oceanfront Cottage November 22-24. All of the properties are beautifully maintained and well managed. We especially like this cottage because it literally sits on the sand. You open the sliding door, walk out onto the deck and take a short walk to the waterfront - no roads to cross or difficult paths to navigate. The cottage has two masters which affords a lot of privacy. The living room is small but cozy with an amazing oceanfront view. Even if it is raining, you can sit by the fire with take in the view up and down the beach. The Owner is a delight to work with as is her staff. Their communication is excellent - this was particularly helpful this year with all of the uncertainty around Covid restrictions. Any of the houses would be a great choice!

Beautiful, remodeled property right on the beach. Clean, well-supplied, very comfortable beds and pillows! Quiet, private, in a great location-- near downtown Manzanita, but away from the crowds. The host was friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

This is my dream house. The location can’t be more perfect. If I win the lotto this will be my first splurge if they’ll sell! People I worked with were nice. It was a great vacation at a beautiful town. AND I visited another time. It was so sweet for these people to squeeze us in for a last minute anniversary celebration. This is our new home away from home. Love love love.

Perfect gathering spot. This property is lovely! It worked perfectly as we gathered our family for the Thanksgiving holiday from all across the USA. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious for many cooks in the kitchen. The bedrooms were excellent! The beds were comfortable and the bunk room worked great for our young adult kids. The living room and dining area accommodated meals, puzzles, games, and reading. The views of the beach and sunset were unbeatable! We walked on the beach every day and night and easily ventured into town to explore shops and neighborhoods. We had a memorable​ visit- and we hope to return.

Manzanita Bungalow. Pleasant, but stormy week. The bungalow is very well equipped and comfortable. Very nice view the wild surf. Owners were quick to respond to our concerns.

I thought this experience was wonderful, and as their staff says, we created wonderful memories vacationing at their oceanfront cottage. Their other Manzanita rentals look intriguing too. We’re thinking of a family reunion at their huge house. We drive by and it also looks incredible. We will also return to this house. I especially loved the front bedroom where I slept very soundly. I think it was the sound of the waves!

Nice house. Good experience. It had everything we needed, was clean, nice, and comfortable. We appreciated finding it and have shared the house information w/friends and family. Some of the town businesses have closed but they’re are still choices available for eating and coffee.

Celebrated my mother's 90th! birthday at the Oceanfront Reed House with three families, 4 generations including 5 kids under 12. We had a wonderful time in this fantastic house with great separation of spaces. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the movie room, the pool table and their bunk beds. Grown-ups loved having all the noise downstairs and the ability to read and visit while kids are having a good time.

The decor is delightful with unique whimsical touches everywhere. Kitchen is well outfitted and the decks provide great views. We also enjoyed the fire pit next to the house when the winds picked up in the afternoon. Comfy beds with delicious sheets - need some at home!

We scheduled a reunion with our daughter and her family at the Historic Reed House. We range in age from 90 to three. This three-level home was perfect for us. As the 90-year old in the group, I got a suite with a private bath and a sitting area where I could retreat if the noise of five young great-grandchildren got to me, a rare occurrence this weekend since they spent a lot of time in the lower level game room playing pool! Their parents, my grandchildren and their spouses spent most of their time in the large family/living/dining and kitchen area. This open space allowed the rotating “chefs” the opportunity to still be part of the action. All, including me on a couple of occasions,enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the ability to see the wonderful view not only from the large “great” room but also from a deck which is spacious enough for a much larger number of people. My son-in-law cooked a leg of lamb in the open pit barbecue and I visited with long-time friends who now live in Neahkanie for most of the year in this same area, socially distant of course. The beds are very comfortable as are the chairs in the great room. The linens, towels, sheets and pillowcases were clean and of excellent quality. The double dishwashers allowed us to always be able to have clean plates, glasses and silverware, also of the nicest quality. The refrigerator was large enough to handle all the food that our four “entities” brought along. I can hardly wait to bring my son and his family (15 of us) to this wonderful vacation place.

Nice house. The views and inside are great. Family liked the fire pit and wood fireplace. And big screen TV. 4 of us working remotely, 6 kids remote learning. No problems. Appreciated late departure so they could finish their work. We’re planning our next stay.

Very relaxing and beautiful location

We rented the Historic Reed House for a week. It was a very relaxing place to vacation. The house was clean and the evidence of Covid protocols utilization duly noted.
I love to cook so I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. Being right on the ocean front the sea breezes and ocean sound were great with the windows open. Access to the beach was literally walking across the road and down to the shore.
We had our grand dogs with us and the house was very pet friendly. I think they were saddest leaving to come home as they live in Portland without a lot of room to roam.
Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

Enjoyed the sound of the surf. It was a very comfortable retreat...with a lovely view. Two adults stayed at the house which was perfect...a cozy bedroom for each person. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and living room was homey! A nice outside fire ended our last evening.

Super Location! We loved everything about our stay at the home. Sadly we were smoked out from the surrounding fires with poor visibility and air quality to fully enjoy the area and the beach. :( I wish the third room would have had a regular Queen bed rather than the bunk bed set up.

Our group selected this beach property due to the location, the views, and the set up. Little did we know we’d fall in life with this charmingly restored old lady. The owner showed us photos of the original lay out. Gone are the dark rooms with small windows. Instead, this is a warm, light filled house with million dollar views. The set up is great for a large group. The beach is just a skip away. The kitchen is perfect for a large group with a dining setup that seats everyone. The bonus is the wonderful town of Manzanita. Goodbye crowded Cannon Beach. Hello our new favorite beach trip.

Really enjoyed staying there and the place was very clean and safe. They followed all the rules and everybody enjoyed the house and beach.

Terrific selections of houses. Our large family stayed in the lodge. It was recently remodeled and it showed. The layout was really great for our group. The views were as advertised and better. The sunsets were spectacular. The kitchen had what we needed with space enough for all the cooks. The owner was extremely professional and quick with responses. We appreciated their detailed information regarding cleaning which is a concern right now. The house was spotless, comfortable and we all have the best sleep. Especially in the king beds. The kids appreciated the close beach access.

Wow! What a memorable experience my family had at their cottage. If you’ve read my reviews I’m a stickler for Covid cleaning measures. I felt very comfortable in how they answered all my questions and the communication beforehand during and at the end of our trip. If you’ve seen their photos you already know the location is terrific and the decor is charming. Needless to say the views are tops. My favorite if any oregon coast vacation house. We do appreciate all the owners have done to address guest concerns during this time. We also appreciated the discount they’re offering with the suggestion to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. We’re planning on another stay this fall we loved it that much. Thank you all for helping make this much needed respite a reality.

The house was as advertised. It comfortably slept our party of 8, with the adults in queens and the kids in bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked, the house arranged nicely, beds comfortable, views wonderful, and owners responsive. It was an easy walk to the Manzanita shops. Both the owners and the town of Manzanita have taken the Covid restrictions seriously and we all appreciated that as well. I couldn’t think of a better find for our group.

Hi all. Back again with new info. My family LOVES visiting “our beach house” in the summer. This beach house continues to wow family and friends, although our friends stayed home this year due to Covid stuff. The house was clean as a whistle and all the protections were appreciated. Thanks cleaning crew and everyone! Our Manzanita rental house was the oceanside modern cabin. It was a very good house for our vacation. The short walk to the main street of Manzanita was appreciated and the beach was only about 100 feet from our door. The house was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. We liked the separate family room for the kids to hand out on their own. And the adults got the living room with the wonderful view! The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. The owners were good to work with.

Beautiful beach getaway. This was an absolutely beautiful property right on the beach. there are not many houses in this area with direct Beach access. We also enjoyed the bonfire pit and an actual backyard that our kids could play on.

Well we hate to go but since we are, and it’s a misty day at the beach it’s not a bad day to leave. This house was perfectly located and the views were so soothing. The weather has been sunny abd wonderful. This is the first misty day and while overcast it really doesn’t get you wet while you pack up the car :) Everyone was up er nice and great to work with. The kitchen was really well stocked for not a huge house. Even a mixer! Terrific if you’re making a special birthday cake. Loved taking advantage of eating outside looking out over the ocean. Or hanging out around the fire pit. Again looking out over the ocean! I would definitely suggest this business to everyone who asks(and those that don’t!). I simply wish we had booked a longer vacation. I hate to go!

I have loved my stays at the Houses on Manzanita Beach. I've stayed in 2 or 3 places and have so many fond memories. I love the one that's furthest north as that's got a lot of privacy and easy access to the beach. I hope to return soon!

We came back for our fourth visit. It’s now our home away from home. If you haven’t visited Manzanita you’re missing something wonderful. It’s much better than Cannon Beach or Rockaway. But that’s just my opinion.

I LOVED this Manzanita rental house! We stayed at the modern cabin although all of the houses looked intriguing. They are styled with interesting things and look like ehat you’d find in a decorating magazine. The modern cabin had cedar log walls, but were smooth not rustic. It blended very well with the modern touches. The rock wood burning fireplace was the perfect spot to curl up and watch the waves out the window. I can imagine the deck would be the place to be during better weather.

The house was clean and tidy. Our requests were answered right away. We locked ourselves out without the door combination plus we pushed the wrong button, and a nice gentleman cane right away to give us the combination and make sure we got in.

The Beach was only a couple feet away and the walk to businesses was about two blocks. We enjoyed walking to the coffee shop in the morning then stopping at Bread and Ocesn for warm cinnamon rolls. We wanted to try the new breakfast place Yolk but the weekend line was long. It’s in the former Blackbird restaurant location. We spent an afternoon boating and crabbing on the Nehalem Bay at the suggestion of the Houses manager and had a blast. It was at a Kelly’s Marina. We’ll be coming back again to stay at one of their houses. My husband and I were hoping for a romantic getaway at their smaller two bedroom oceanfront house. We’re also looking at a summer stay. That would be heaven.

I gotta admit I’ve stayed at some ok places during this family trip but this place had them all beat. You can’t find a better location on the Oregon coast. It’s right on the beach and the feeling of privacy and quiet along with the view makes it a great deal. We’ll be coming back and we’ll tell friends and family about it. Service was really quick and responsive at all hours. Transaction was a piece of cake. Employees were all nice and helpful. Even the landscapers. House was also good and I had the best sleep. I’m usually a restless sleeper. I would say they’re taking this coronavirus thing seriously. There’s a list of what they’re doing sent to you and a questionnaire that’s mandatory. Maybe a bit too far as they would not allow an early check in based on their guidelines. That was a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise this was a great vacation. We are discussing our next trip here. We stayed at the cottage but are thinking of one of their larger houses for a bigger family vacation.

This was an outstanding vacation rental in Manzanita. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway at the beach.

Five start service throughout the trip — we had a lot of questions about the property and the owner answered all of our questions quickly and clearly. I really appreciated the extra transparency around the cancellation policy and the recommendation to purchase trip insurance, especially with so much uncertainty these days.

This was a truly relaxing experience during a time when we haven’t been able to relax much.

This was our second stay here. Can't say enough about this house right on the beach. The sun was shining during the whole week so the location was even more excellent as the views were the best. The outdoor spaces were much appreciated. Loved dining on the deck and spending the evenings by the fire overlooking the ocean. Our conversations with the owner were professional and promptly answered. Really appreciated that when planning our vacation. I had also tried several of the different agencies and houses in town, but the replies were late and half baked at best (trying to use good language here). Everything was clear and complete, direction and expectation-wise. As we aren't from the area we had a lot of questions and the owner was very helpful. Instructions were online. I could have used an email instruction addition as opposed to mainly online but wasn't a problem. House was extremely clean and ready early which we really appreciated. Especially after a flight with kids. We were ready for our vacation. Beds were new and comfortable. Everything promised was provided and bedding and towels were all on the new side which we appreciated. Most of the house and landscaping looked newly remodeled.

Views were incredible as promised. The house and beach front views were even better than in the photos. My family was very very happy with my choice which I also appreciated. Beach was not as crowded as one would expect in July. The walk to town was a short stroll which we enjoyed starting our day with. The coffee shop was right off the beach. Many very good restaurants and places to eat. Kids liked the local park with tennis court and renting bikes. Kids loved Left Coast, the local taco place. The state park at the south end was a hit for that. We also enjoyed crabbing at Kellys just south of town.

Excellent place for a summer vacation at the beach. Will recommend to our friends. The owner also has a really big beach front house so I will try to plan a multifamily vacation next year.

EXCELLENT. Beautiful location at the north end of Manzanita Beach! As a family of now a couple of teens, we have spent many summers on the Oregon Coast at Cannon Beach for July 4th and decided to try out Manzanita - and we were delighted! Great property- expansive lawn so we could play ball with the kids and great firepit on the property. Photos may not show how much space there is but it wonderful and spacious! Literally steps away to the sandy beach. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed and the touch of having firewood there for our first night was so appreciated on the rainy night we arrived. Beds incredibly comfortable and the stained glass in some of the rooms is so beautiful - wonderful touch. New kitchen and appliances appreciated by all, and as we both work in healthcare, they did an amazing job with cleaning and adhering to the covid-19 guidelines. And note - we had neighbors on one side that were teens and college-aged kids and small kids on the other side - and, to be honest, we worried about the noise. But SO impressed with how mindful the neighbors of this property were of being quiet and respectful. Amazing stay - will come back again for sure. PS the fireworks were outstanding!

Cozy Cabin. Breathtaking setting. The property was all I expected. The property managers were very patient and professional. We were stuck in limbo with some travel concerns and conflicts, but Kim worked with us and helped us get everything updated and complete. So grateful.

Updated June 16, 2020. We had a stay scheduled that was complicated by the Cornavirus outbreak and stay at home order. Owner allowed us to reschedule. We were greeted with an apple pie and a bottle of local Oregon wine. Nice touch. Partly great weather, partly blue skies and sun. It was a great way to celebrate the getting past the stay at home order. We like to stay in the front bedroom and go to sleep at night to the sound of the ocean. It's now our home away from home. 2018: Owner Nice spot on the beach. Front row as advertised. Everything was nice. Owners were good to work with. I'd recommend.

Fabulous view. Would definitely rent again.

This was a great house for our family reunion. It was much better then the average homogenous anywhere house that has no character. We learned this is one of the first (existing) houses on Manzanita beach. It is apparently 100 years old, but the owner remodeled the house, took it down to the studs, kept all the wonderful original fir and other architectural details, upgraded plumbing, electrical insulation, put in a new heat pump system, new double pain windows, then replaced all the existing original details that make this house the perfect beach house. We especially love the big kitchen (my wife is a semi-professional cook and enjoyed it immensely) but the kitchen held many of us, so when we were trying to help we didn't get in each other's way. There were lots of separate spaces to hang out so the kids didn't feel they had to spend the whole vacation with old people. They were usually found playing pool or ping pong, or hanging out watching whatever on the big screen tv downstairs. The older generation appreciated having the great room (with great ocean view) mainly to themselves. We also appreciated the huge dining table where we could all gather together. We have yet to find a house that seated so many of us for dinner. Later, we would clear the table and play games or cards at the table, all while overlooking the big ocean view. Or we would sit out on the deck and enjoy BBQ, or the crab we caught earlier (try Kelly's Marina. We all loved it). All the rooms were well situated for our group, especially the two bunk rooms, one for the girls and one for the guys. The five bathrooms meant we didn't have lines for the bathrooms, since there are seven bedrooms. Although we had to draw straws for the masterbedroom with private bath and an area to sit and work. With a great view of course. Evenings were spent either on the beach or around the firepit eating s'mores. Always a must. Kids enjoyed biking at the local state park. Adults loved being able to let the kids run free in Manzanita. A place we all love. We are already planning next year's family trip here, and plan to make it our annual family get together house.

COVID-19 had an impact on our stay. We loved the location and proximity to the beach. The home was comfortable and close to town. The home did not have many extras normally found in vacation rentals due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. No cooking items such as salt, pepper, and limited paper towels and toilet paper.

This must be the place. Without a doubt you won’t find better on the coast. It’s big and cozy all at once.

Kim was great to work with during the entire process of finding dates, picking one of her gorgeous homes, and enjoying our fantastic vacation! I had never been to Manzanita Beach and thoroughly enjoyed the home, the beach, and all the spots Kim advised us to check out for dinners and drinks. We will be back this summer for another relaxing vacation and will be reaching out to rent a different one of her beautiful homes.

My hubby and I got away from all the craziness and celebrated our Anniversary on the Oregon Coast. Manzanita is such a beautiful area. We decided to visit one of the houses of this business as they were more unique than the other houses offered on the beach which looked like other houses found .. where ever. These houses advertise as traditional beach houses updated for today's standards. I very much agree. We stayed at the Bungalow and it was so sweet and cozy yet had incredible views. It's not easy to feel like you've gotten away to somewhere special anymore, but this is truly a special location and well decorated and stocked house. It also has a lot of charm, great decor, and has everything you want for a vacation spot. Kim, the owner, was very helpful in our special arrangements. Annika was very sweet in helping me book. We will be back. I'm not sure if we'll tell all of our friends, as we want time available when we return.

It’s been a long wait with some bumps along the way but finally I have my feet up, wine glass full, a toasty fire in the hearth, and slowly exhaling the panic and pandemic worries away now that our vacation is a reality. It’s my understanding this house was recently remodeled. They really opened it up to fabulous views and the location is great. Beds are wonderful, love the sheets. The kitchen is stocked with everything we need for our group. We have to thank Kim, the owner for helping is make it all work. When she notified us in April our original reservation had to be canceled due to COVID-closures my heart sunk. She worked with us to reschedule at the Lodge the very first weekend when Manzanita reopened -all hassle free. She was so helpful too with lots of tips, and her detailed cleaning information let us know it’s not only a welcoming home, it’s safe too. Be sure you pack your masks – they are required here in Manzanita. Best thing now is the beach isn’t crowed, which makes social distancing a cinch. The local businesses are open, too.

Manzanita dream! My Sister and stayed in the bungalow for "sister" time and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The bungalow was cute, clean, convenient to beach and town! Even though it was March the weather was lovely, no rain and lots of sunshine. Thank you Owners of this lovely Manzanita Dream!

Ocean getaway. Wonderful property. the master bedroom mattress was a bit soft and be sure to note there's a road between the property and the beach - not quite as beachfront as I'd pictured. All in all a very nice house / cabin on a peaceful beach. We were only two, there's room for a big group. Be a terrific cabin for an extended family or reunion.

Great location, great vibe. Can’t wait to come back.

Classy, Romantic, Coastal Perfection. We are so glad we chose to stay in Manzanita, a small but beautiful spot on the coast. This cottage was immaculate, cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for our weekend! Beautiful views, easy beach access, quiet street and gorgeous interior! Easy drive to nearby Oswald State Forest, Canon Beach, and Seaside. Yummy breakfast at a Yolk and espresso at Msnzanita news. Firewood and wine at the little Apple grocery. Cozy fire and movie were a great way to end the day. Can’t wait to be back at this special hideaway!

Absolutely amazing! This was the best beach house! We loved everything about it and it came supplied with everything we possibly could have needed! Will definitely want to stay here again!

Our Winter Getaway. Wonderfully comfortable, cozy and charming. Immaculately clean, well cared for with lots of updates and lots of light. Kim was great, getting back to us right away when we had a couple questions. Every winter we stay at the Oregon beach, and we'll definitely be coming back here!

What can I add to all the amazing reviews..... Kim and Eric are super responsive, hospitable owners. They have so much to be proud of. Try the House is a beautiful balance between luxury - and comfort. They gave throughly thought through every guest need. And of course, location-location-location!

This house is wonderful! We loved our stay and would definitely like to come stay again. It's super clean, beautifully decorated, has a great layout, is perfect for 3 couples to have their own bedrooms and up to 6 kids in the room with the bunks, and the location is wonderful. It's right across the street from the beach and a park, and a nice walk into the main street in Manzanita. The check-out process is more involved than most AirBnBs I've experienced, so you might want to check that out and make sure you're comfortable with that process or paying the associated additional fees.

Great experience. Everything was fully sanitized and staff is very cooperative. You made my journey very comfortable and enjoyable.

This house is absolutely perfect! It's wonderfully decorated, clean, comfortable, and has beautiful views. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the gorgeous kitchen, and family time next to the fire while enjoying the ocean view. Communication with Kim was great! There was even a couple items we asked for which normally weren’t at the house, just for us. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be booking again! Loved it

I found Kim to be helpful and sympathetic when I needed to cancel my reservation because we had covid-positive folks in our household. She was willing to put the listing up again—asking me frankly what price I’d be willing to accept—-to recoup some of the cost. It worked—-someone got a great deal on three nights in Manzanita, and I recouped most of my costs on the Cottage I didn’t actually get to stay at! Still, I will make sure to book again, and I look forward to working with Kim and enjoying one of the Houses on Manzanita Beach in the future! Thank you 😊

Loved the house!
Our family of six adults and one child had a wonderful time in this delightful house. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of room between the two floors for all of us. The beds were all very comfy and the down comforters were so cozy. Loved the location and the view spectacular. We all want to return for next Christmas.

This home is a perfect place for anyone looking for great beach walks and a wonderful cozy place for a glass of wine with someone you love.

We stayed at this sweet Manzanita cabin for three nights and seriously, the view and access to the ocean is awesome. This home has a very well equipped kitchen and lovely living space with expansive views. My walk on the beach was as simple as walking out the door. It is also a short walk into Manzanita which is always a treat. Very comfy and cozy here. One thing I would add to the description is that a spiral staircase connects the two levels. While it worked for us as three elder women, one of us is limited physically and could not imagine using the stairs. No problem for able bodies but something someone may need to consider. I truly look forward to coming back to this cabin and catching a winter storm. We had lovely weather and watched the sun set from the deck in November! Nice!

Perfect family gathering spot.
This property is lovely! It worked perfectly as we gathered our family for the Thanksgiving holiday from all across the USA. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious for many cooks in the kitchen. The bedrooms were excellent! The beds were comfortable and the bunk room worked great for our young adult kids. The living room and dining area accommodated meals, puzzles, games, and reading. The views of the beach and sunset were unbeatable! We walked on the beach every day and night and easily ventured into town to explore shops and neighborhoods. We had a memorable​ visit- and we hope to return.

We truly enjoyed this property 100%! Kim, the owner, was fantastic. She made sure everything was perfect for us!! What a great beach house. So spacious and beautifully decorated. The windows in the great room are big which makes the natural light so bright! There are so many wonderful places to eat in Manzanita but we didn't want to leave the house. Views and sunsets were spectacular! Best part of all is to get to the beach to step of the porch and walk 100 feet and you are on the sand. Our grandkids came for one night and they loved everything about the cabin. We could stay on the deck and watch them run on the beach. They especially loved the bunk room downstairs. So great for families. Also, so nice having a TV with Cable to watch sports! The kitchen was well stocked and wonderful cooking with the amazing views out the windows. Wood burning BIG fireplace was so welcomed. Morning Noon and Night! Beds were very comfortable. The heated floor in the upstairs bathroom is awesome. I wanted to take a pillow and blanket and sleep on the floor!!! Washer/Dryer would be very helpful...we weren't there long enough to use it. So nice being able to walk to town! The Little Apple Grocery Store is our favorite place...so much history. Great seafood to buy and cook at the cabin! We had full sun for 4 days with sunsets so we felt very lucky. But we both agreed this place would be great in a storm too! Thank you Eric and Kim!!!! You did a fabulous job remodeling. You kept the charm making this the best stay in Manzanita. We will be back!!!

The property is as described and situated on the ocean not across the street. We are only 2 people but it also never felt too big of a rental. Manzanita is a gem too. No real need to venture north and get caught up in tourism. There’s so much to do in the town and ones south of here. Easy process all around for getaway and will definitely book again

The house was perfect. Kitchen well equipped. We loved the Scandinavian feel. My sister and husband were in awe of the great storm watching!

Location, location, location - being so near the beach makes for any easy and beautiful visit. The home was sparkling clean as well as invitingly clean and comfortable. Kitchen is fully furnished - although we missed normal (8-16 oz) beverage-sized glasses (wine and very small glasses were available).

Our stay was unfortunately brief but very enjoyable!

We had such an amazing time at the lodge. Such wonderfully decorated and also very well stocked with anything we may need! A short walk to a sandy beach and about a 15min walk into town. We are already talking about when we are going to go back and hoping to book one of their houses again in the future! Thanks so much.

Can't say enough great things about this place. I'm a big cook and the kitchen had every utensil and piece of cookware one needs to prepare amazing meals. It's also a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures so there's plenty of room for everyone and awesome common places inside and out to hang and enjoy. We look forward to coming back as soon as we can.

Such a beautiful cottage steps away from the picturesque beach and the ocean. We had an amazing time at the place, full relax and recharge. Our 3yo daughter said she wants to stay there forever :) Cottage has everything you need to feel home away from home and more. We would definitely book it again. Thanks.

We had a great time at this comfortable, spacious home. with our family of four and my mom. The kids loved having their own space downstairs and we enjoyed the beautiful view from the couch, deck, and table. Well equipped and a short walk from town. We would love to go back!

We heartily recommend Kim and Eric‘s home for your rental needs. This easy to find beach house with a view, is spacious, warm, lovely modern, and well appointed. Kim and Eric have anticipated the needs of short term renters from beginning to end. The coast setting and this vacation gem made a perfect setting for a family getaway that left everyone saying: We have to do this again!

I almost don't want to add to the glowing reviews because I want this house to be available if we try to rent it again, but I have to say that it is simply magical. The house is spartan, yet very clean & comfortable. The location seems almost unmatched in Manzanita (which is itself a gem). You walk over the dune right onto the stunning beach. My only silly suggestion might be new sheets for the beds. Overall it was perfect!

This house is so beautiful! The beach across the street is stunning. Hit up Yolk for breakfast, hike the falcon trail and watch the sunset on the beach right out the front door.

Probably the nicest VRBO we have stayed at. Top of the line everything! There wasn’t anything we needed and it was all new! Just a few steps to the beach!! And the sunset views (you really should add a picture of that) from the living room! Absolutely amazing! We were able to walk to beach between baby’s naps. Love it!!

A little bit of heaven! Views amazing, cottage darling and so very comfortable. Lots of hot water and comfortable beds. Couldn't beat location to the beach and Kim & Eric ordered a lovely sunny day for us in the month of February no less, thanks guys!

Hands down one of my favorite places to stay on the Oregon coast. Spectacular views and unbeatable proximity to a more private part of Manzanita beach. It's also a very easy walk to the stores and restaurants on Laneda ave. Love the clean, modern vibe of the interior that still manages to feel homey. Will definitely be back here.

The Reed House was a huge hit with our family. There was plenty of room for everyone and not once did we feel the pinch of having our whole family together. The weather was perfect our entire stay.

We were able to stay here thanks to our studio for the whole weekend and it made for an amazing place to foster our creativity as a group. We spent our time creating and learning and the coast was the perfect backdrop for it. The house was beautiful, clean, and just as described and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind. 10/10 would stay again, we are already planning for next year!
