Like the rest of the Oregon Coast, Cannon Beach weather is predictably ... non-predictable!
As with the whole Oregon Coast, Cannon Beach Weather can be a mixed bag. Some expect November to be grey and rainy, and July to be sunny but not too hot.
But as we tell our guests at our oceanfront Manzanita rentals, we've definitely experienced sunny, tee shirt weather during Thanksgiving vacation in November, and have spent summer days on the beach when we were wishing for palm trees! It was hot!
Like my parents before me, we taught our kids early that you never head for a vacation at the beach without some sort of rain gear, albeit heavier in the fall and winter and a lighter weight shell in the spring in summer.
After all, our Oregon Coast rain keeps our area green. So the best answer is
Expect some sort of rain or sprinkles, then be happily surprised with the great Cannon Beach weather!

September has only slightly more days of rain than July and August, better high temperature averages averages and only slightly low temperature averages.
Cannon Beach weather in October follows closely behind with only slightly lower temperatures than June and similar rainfall patterns.
And don't forget, rain at the Oregon Coast doesn't necessary mean a torrential downfall. Rainfall in the Pacific Northwest trends lighter and steadier than other parts of the country.
